Minister of Culture and National Heritage prof. Piotr Gliński appointed 15 members of the Program Council of the Institute of Heritage of National Thought. Roman Dmowski and Ignacy Jan Paderewski.The group of distinguished persons includes scientists from the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University – prof. dr hab. Janusz Odziemkowski from our Institute and Dr. Ewa Czaczkowska, a historian from the Faculty of Theology.
The ceremony of appointing members of the IDMN Program Council took place on June 25 at the Royal Castle in Warsaw. It is a prestigious distinction bringing together representatives of various scientific communities, the world of culture, social activists representing various environments and professions. The mission of the Institute of National Thought Heritage is to popularize the heritage of Polish national and Christian-democratic thought represented by Roman Dmowski and Ignacy Jan Paderewski. The work of the Institute is headed by the director, prof. dr hab. Jan Żaryn (WNHist UKSW) and deputy director prof. dr hab. Paweł Skibiński (UW).
Institute of Heritage of National Thought Roman Dmowski and Ignacy Jan Paderewski is a state cultural institution established by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage on February 17, 2020. Its mission is to conduct research and popularize among the contemporary generation of Poles the heritage of Polish national and Christian-democratic thought, represented by those who contributed to the regaining of Poland’s independence patrons of the institution – Roman Dmowski and Ignacy Jan Paderewski.
