Dr. Khaled El-Enany, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, and Dr. Zahi Hawass, a world-renowned Egyptian archaeologist, were awarded the Crosses of Merit of the Republic of Poland on October 25, 2020 at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Cairo. Congratulations to both awardees. In September this year, Dr. Magdalena Łaptaś (Institute of Art History UKSW) presented Dr. Zahi Hawass the publication of „Nubia Christiana II”, of which she is co-editor, together with Dr. hab. Stefan Jakobielski (Institute of Mediterranean Cultures of the Polish Academy of Sciences) published by UKSW Publishing House.
