The Perspektywy Ranking, published annually for over a dozen years, has been helping high school graduates who are considering the choice of their educational path – it presents universities with outstanding achievements. Among them, the high position of the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University is the best recommendation when choosing studies.
In the overall assessment, UKSW took 16th place this year among universities, and 47th among all universities in the country. In this year’s classification, the university was appreciated in the following categories: graduate on the labor market (35th place among academic universities, 7th among broad-profile universities; prestige (44th place among universities, 11th place among broad-profile universities), as well as scientific potential (32nd place among universities, 11th among mainstream universities.
The Perspektywy 2020 ranking was prepared mainly on the basis of the POL-on database, the Scopus-SciVal database, data from the Economic Fate of Graduates survey, the results of a survey among academic staff of universities (a group of the youngest „Belweder” professors and postdoctoral fellows who received titles and degrees in 2016-2019) and surveys among employers.
In the methodology of the Ranking of Academic Universities, the changes consisted mainly in reducing the importance of the employer survey, and in strengthening the indicator based on the Study of Economic Achievements of Graduates (ELA) and a slight increase in the weight of scientometric indicators (by adding the Field-Weighted View Impact indicator ).
