Dear Graduates,
The history major in the published Perspektywy 2020 ranking was included in the prestigious group of the best majors in Poland. In the published ranking of the fields of study, history was ranked fourth. The Institute of History of UKSW is a modern and dynamically developing scientific unit employing scientists participating in national and international conferences and research projects.
The field of study conducted at the Institute of History of UKSW gives graduates the opportunity to acquire highly specialized knowledge in the field of history. On the other hand, modern study programs enable the acquisition of theoretical knowledge and practical skills. History graduates are appreciated on the labor market, finding prospective jobs in, among others: museums, libraries, archives, publishing houses, research centers, as well as in state administration institutions. During their studies in the field of history, students can develop their passions and interests as part of organized conferences, field exercises, lectures from the Res Gestae seriesin which the results of their research are presented by eminent scientists from all over Poland. In the course of their studies, students can also study at foreign universities under the ERASMUS+ programme.
